Bright Makeup Ideas for Spring

With Spring in full swing, its time to shed those winter layers and let loose. Maybe your heading to Coachella this weekend or maybe you have a fun Easter party to look forward to. Either way try out these awesome makeup tips to really brighten up your look this spring.
1. Sexy Orange Lips
I'm usually all about the pink lips but I'm really loving this trend right now. Its a fun alternative to the red lip and they make just as bold of a statement. They instantly brighten up your face and scream "Look at me!". I would pair these lips with a nice set of false lashes and some black eyeliner. Lightly dust on some peach blush so you don't look washed out and your ready to hit the town.
2. Hot colors to spruce up your Lashes
This is a really fun way to add a pop of color to your eyes. There are a bunch of colored mascaras out on the market but I found that if you put on black mascara first, which is always a must in my book, then you can barely see the colored mascara on top. Instead take a super hot pink eyeshadow, I love the Make Up For Ever #75 because its super pigmented, and rub your finger in it to get a nice layer of color on it. Then lightly brush over the tips of your lashes with your finger to get a bright pop of pink on the ends. I especially like using this trick just on the bottom lashes. Have fun with this and use any color you want. I found turquoise and bright purple also look great!!
3. Shimmer Powder in Bright shades
Instead of applying your normal black or grey eyeliner underneath your eyes, use a bright shimmery powder in green, teal, or blue shades. Just lightly dust the powder under the eyes from corner to corner to instantly brighten. This trick is sure to make you stand out! I love Make Up For Ever's Star Powder in #90956 or #90906.
4. Bright nails
I'm obsessed with all the fun neon nail polishes out on the market right now. They are the ultimate accessory this spring and I can't get enough. And with OPI's new Shatter polish, the possibilities are endless. My favorite combo right now is pairing the OPI Black Shatter with a hot pink color underneath. Just make sure to let the pink completely dry before applying the Shatter on top. Have fun with this trend and  experiment with different colors underneath.
5. Glowing legs
Beautiful, bronzed legs are always sexy but the harmful rays of the sun are way less appealing. So use a nice bronzer to fake that healthy glow. I found that Bonnie Bell's Golden Tan Gel Bronzer works great. Put a few drops of this into your lotion and mix it together. Then apply to your legs and allow it to dry for a few minutes before getting dressed. This trick will generally work with any liquid bronzer. It instantly adds a gorgeous glow and moisturizes at the same time.
